East Africa ebola free

Tourists are staying away from East Africa because of fears about the ebola epidemic - even though the crisis is thousands of kilometres away. So reported tourism ministers and officials from the East African Community during World Travel Market in London.

They pointed out the UK was closer to West Africa than were EAC countries such as Kenya and Tanzania. However, they said border security had been tightened and medical contingency plans put in place shouldthere be an isolated case of ebola within the EAC.
