That’s why the company was a finalist in the recent 2010 Tourism for Tomorrow Community Benefit award. Tour India was the first organisation to run these Kettuvallam houseboats through the backwaters of Kerala. It converts former rice barges into environmentally sustainable holiday accommodation.
