Botswana Tourism Board wins award

Protecting one of the most fragile habitats on Earth has seen the Botswana Tourism Board win a major environmental award this month.

The Tourism for Tomorrow destination stewardship award recognises organisations who are managing a region in a way that is environmentally and socially sustainable.

The board set in place a management plan for the Okavanga Delta, one of the most important wetlands in southern Africa.
