Accor wins big biz green award

Initiatives to reduce energy consumption and introduce sustainable building techniques have earned Accor this year's Tourism for Tomorrow big business award.

The award goes to international companies making long term efforts to minimise the impact of their business on the environment.

Spokeswoman Sophie Flak says even the smallest initiatives by multi-nationals make a major difference globally.
