Whale Watch Kaikoura wins top award

New Zealand company Whale Watch Kaikoura has scooped a global award for sustainable tourism.

The company was named overall winner of the Virgin Holidays Responsible Tourism Awards for 2009.

The judges said: "Whale Watch Kaikoura provides consistently responsible whale watching tours with minimal impacts."
